Nehru Zoo isn't a bad place for getting away from the noise and dirt of the city. It's crowded, but you can find some quiet spots.
The nice thing about zoos in certain countries is that you can get close to the animals:
We keep Muffin up high, above the crowds of her admirers:
We've been twice and we still haven't seen everything yet. Muffin doesn't last too long before we need to head home. You can walk or drive through the zoo. There's a tiger safari (which we haven't done yet), a kids' train, and supposedly elephant rides, but both times we've been the elephants have been in the "garage."
